How classes work

1) Free Intro Call
We check level, goals, and the best plan.
2) Smart Weekly Plan
Short practice + clear targets (no overwhelm).
3) Live Zoom Lesson
Interactive teaching + problem-solving + feedback.
4) Progress Updates
Simple notes + next steps for parents.
We group classes by student needs and prep depth. Different students need different kinds of help. Some just need clearer explanations for school topics and help with assignments, others want a full, long-term programme, and some need a short, intensive block before exams or competitions. To keep things fair and transparent, we use a simple structure:
Small group lessons (2–4 students)
- Friends / siblings / classmates, same course and level.
- Kept very small so everyone can participate.
- Rate per student: $35–$40 per 60-minute lesson, minimum 2 students.
Ongoing private instruction (full or partial syllabus)
- Using AoPS, Beast, or a structured Algebra–Precalculus–Calculus track.
- More planning and long-term structure from my side.
- Typical range: $70–$85 per 60-minute lesson.
Homework support & clarify school work
- Help with class topics, homework, quizzes.
- Follows the school’s syllabus and materials.
- Typical range: $60–$80 per 60-minute lesson.
Intensive exam & competition prep
- Short, focused blocks before IGCSE/GCSE, AP, contests.
- Lots of past-paper / official-style questions, targeted weak areas.
- Typical range: up to $80–$95 per 60-minute lesson, especially close to exams.

I’m Besmir Durraj, an experienced online math teacher who’s taught students across IB, IGCSE/GCSE, A-Level, and the U.S. curriculum. I focus on clarity, problem-solving habits, and steady confidence — whether that means closing gaps, moving ahead of class, or training for competitions. When I’m not teaching, I’m with my family (three kids!) and sketching new lesson ideas.

Besmir accelerated my daughter Sofia into IGCSE two years early without turning math into a grind. He built a clear path, used past papers intelligently, and kept the joy intact. When mocks came, she wasn’t guessing—she understood. We’re grateful for both the results and the confidence.
Maya R., student
AP Precalculus stopped being a list of rules. With Besmir we always asked why first, then calculated. That switch meant I could explain methods, not just use them, and my scores jumped. Walking into AP Calc AB now feels doable instead of scary.
Rashida S., parent
Our son Amir had no formal background and dreaded math. Besmir started him on Beast Academy 1–5 and rebuilt everything—skills and attitude. A few months later, he was tackling puzzles he would’ve avoided before and showing his working with pride. The change in confidence has spilled into other subjects too.

Mateo G., student
I used to freeze at the start of exam questions. Besmir made me review my notes first and decide a simple ‘first move’ before writing anything. Suddenly circle theorems, ratios, and quadratics felt familiar. My timing improved, my error count dropped, and I actually enjoy past papers now.
Hannah P., parent
My daughter Leila was thrown into precalc with gaps from Algebra 1/2. Besmir didn’t paper over it—he rebuilt foundations while keeping pace with school. The Desmos visuals, tiny daily goals, and clear feedback turned stress into steady progress. Homework is finally done on time and with understanding.
Priya N., parent
We asked for help on algebraic fractions and proofs for Kiran. What we got was a teacher who listens, notices exactly what’s missing, and fixes it in a way that sticks. Kiran now explains his reasoning out loud, step by step, and it shows in his results.
